a magical wedding.

At the start of September I had the pleasure of attending the magical wedding of two of my friends, Amit and Neha.

I had been looking forward to their wedding ever since receiving their beautiful invitation earlier this year and hearing the exciting plans gradually develop whenever we caught up. As an Indian wedding, I knew I would be in for an impressive event but this went above and beyond anything I could have imagined.

The ceremony was held inside the beautiful ballroom at the Mandarin Oriental in Knightsbridge and was followed by a breathtaking reception in the main hall of the Natural History Museum.

Amit and Neha are truly beautiful individuals, inside and out, and I can’t imagine a better way of celebrating their union as husband and wife. The whole event was an elegant, vibrant, family affair and a true representation of Amit and Neha’s wonderful relationship.

Words cannot describe how touching and magical the day was so I will let the pictures do the talking. Needless to say, the bar for future weddings has been set very high!

15 trips across 11 countries, thousands of photos, countless hours spent with (or skyping/vibering) family and new and old friends, lots of amazing food, and plenty of adventures and memories stored for years to come. 2014 was a pretty wonderful year.

Here are a few of my favourite moments:

My bank balance might have suffered considerably last year but my life is infinitely richer for having done all of these things while I have the means and opportunity to do them, and for that I am eternally grateful.

I can’t wait to see what 2015 has in store.
